I may have not heard much buzz about Mark Warner’s speech last night but his campaign did. (I suppose that is their job.) His Campaign Manager sent this dispatch along with links to comments from people who loved Warner’s speech.

The reviews are in. And they’re huge.
Watch what everyone’s saying about Governor Warner’s keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention last night.
Presidential advisor David Gergen said it was “a really arresting, very different kind of speech, because it was about ideas.” Republican political strategist Alex Castellanos noted it was “very powerful.” And Presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin called Mark Warner’s appeal to tap the character and resolve of the American people “a telling moment” and said, “I think it should be a theme of the Democratic campaign.”
Last night was exhilarating, but we still have a long way to go in this campaign. So be sure to stay tuned for updates from the trail.
