NBC12 Coverage Plans For President Clinton Visit
Good Morning. Get Ready. The next two days will be a political whirlwind as high profile candidates decsend on Richmond for major rallies in the race for President. We will have complete coverage of both former President Bill Clinton’s visit to VCU tonight and Governor Sarah Palin’s rally at RIR tomorrow. Here is what we have planned on-air and online:
Sunday- I will be anchoring live from VCU for President Clinton’s rally tonight. The former President will be in Roanoke earlier in the evening and will then jet over to Richmond for a rally at 9:30 tonight. We will have a preview tonight at 6 and then a full report during our late news which tonight will be on immediately following Sunday Night Football.
In addition to hearing from President Clinton, we will also hear from former House Speaker Newt Gingrich. I spoke one on one with him this morning and we will hear about what he has to say about the campaign and the Clinton visit in particular.
