Janis, a republican, will be forced to run as an indepdendent because the GOP has already endorsed former Richmond Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney Matt Geary.
Here are the details on the Janis launch event.
Bill Janis for Henrico Commonwealths Attorney Launch Event
10am-
Henrico County Courthouse Complex
4301 East Parham Road, Henrico, Virginia
Janis will also appear live on NBC12 First at 4 on Wednesday to talk about his campaign and what led him to give up his powerful position in the House of Delegates to persue the Henrico prosecutor job.

He will be forced to run as an Independent? Seems a personal choice to me. Forced? Wow. Okay.

Better question – why invite me to a meeting only for me to show up and be told press only? Is there something wrong Bill or Mike? Have I not given enough money over the years? Not only that, “someone” told the Capitol Police that there was a WARRANT for my arrest out of Chesterfield. I was illegally arrested and detained. It came back as a SUMMONS and it wasn’t even the right person.
But – thanks to whomever made me stand in Capitol Square for 50 minutes next to my Black Mercedez (which at least was a convo piece with one of the officers) with hand-cuffs on! That won’t go over well. I know cops and state legislators think they rule the land, but I guarantee you – they do not!
When I needed help, Aaron, Bill, and Mike were nowhere to be found, but when I was trying to donate they responded quickly. New plan – throw money at everyone, that’s how to make it in this city.
