Rumors spread of RPV leader’s demise

with one comment

A number of different right-leaning blogs are reporting tonight that Republican Party of Virginia chair, Jeff Frederick is being asked by the party’s executive committee to step down.  According to these reports, at least three quarters of the committee is asking for his resignation and that is a big enough number to force him out if they are so inclined.

For the latest info:

Bearing Drift initially broke the story.  They also discuss how his replacement could impact the AG’s race.

Virginia Virtucon speculates on a replacement.

I have a few requests out to Republican sources looking for confirmation/information on the rumors.
